The prune when it withers.

How often should yellow bells be watering?

Yellow vine is both drought and cold tolerant. Water only once when the soil surface is completely dry as it is easier for the roots to grow down during the germination period when it is moderately dry. Drain the soil properly during rainy season. Where the grass is ripe there is not much to drink without a long drought. For potted plants the amount of potting soil is limited and the amount of water that can be held in the soil is also limited so plants are vulnerable to drought. When summer temperatures rise above 86 degrees F yellow bells become semi-dormant and require less water to prevent leaf drop and root rot. In winter it should be watered in the same manner.
